But here's what I actually have finished and photographed. My cousin Beth's shower is tomorrow for baby Max and I edged a flannel baby blanket (because it's faster and I had the thread for it - I need to get more boucle to finish his other blanket), and did a soft hat and amigurumi bear. I'm almost sorry to give up the bear, it turned out so adorable. I had so much fun making my first amigurumi animal.


So aside from baby items, I am still working on pastel squares and trying to figure out what purse pattern to use for the purse swap. Crochet on!

These are wonderful gifts. I agree the amigurumi bear is just too adorable. I hated giving up mine too. But then all Amigurumi animals are so adorable....I fight with my 3 years old son over a turtle I made. Needless to say he wins !!! He is cuter.
